Julia S. Rasor founded the San Diego Artist Retreat as a creative space for artists to engage in a complete art immersion. The retreat is located on a spectacular rural avocado ranch in the mountains of Fallbrook. Before sculpting Julia spent over 35 years as a clinical scientist, inventor (60+ patents), entrepreneur (raised venture capital in Silicon Valley), and serial CEO starting new medical device companies. Rasor’s figurative sculptures are currently on exhibit at galleries and the San Diego Botanic Garden. They have been showcased at Oceanside Museum of Art, Sparks Gallery, ART SD, SOFA Chicago, La Playa Gallery, and La Jolla Art Association Gallery, and the Musée du Louvre in Paris.  She is a member of the North County Sculpture Salon.

Patric Stillman is the owner of The Studio Door, a North Park storefront artists’ studios and gallery.   He was named Mentor of the Year by Professional Artist Magazine and was recently awarded an Artie Award by Mission Federal ArtWalk for his work supporting local artists. A decade ago, he created Brotherhood Tarot, one of the few Tarot decks that was created specifically for gay men.  Since then, his work has been exhibited throughout Southern California with additional exhibitions at the Musée du Louvre in Paris and SCOPE Art Miami.  This summer, his work will be exhibited at the San Diego History Center and Boston Pride.
