Micheal Swank graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA - Printmaking, and Design in 1998. In his design career, he has been Art Director for California Tan (packaging), San Francisco Examiner (Hearst), Miller Huber Marketing, Joie de Vivre Hotels, S.F. Business Times, Disney, Dance Magazine, Pasadena Weekly, and others. The common thread in all his experience was the connection to the education community and mentoring new talent.

After years of international educational programs and exhibits, Micheal created @ProyectosDeResidenciaMX for queer artists and allies to build community and create opportunities to explore their studio processes in the heart of Mexico City DF's cultural colonia. He is currently the Director of Exhibitions and Residency for Art Gallery Studios in Mexico City and producer of Bureau of Queer Art working closely with Queer and Allied artists are often discriminated against in the great art market.

Swank will be jurying the 7th annual PROUD+ exhibition in 2024.

This year, in addition to his role as a gallery owner, Patric Stillman assumes the crucial position of a juror in national exhibitions, including the renowned "The Crow Show" and "LibeRATED® Forms." In this role, Patric brings a unique perspective shaped by years of experience, community engagement, and a deep understanding of contemporary art. His discerning eye and dedication to showcasing excellence have made him a sought-after figure in the art adjudication realm, contributing to the cultivation of talent and the elevation of San Diego's artistic landscape on a national scale.
