Denise Cerro’s layered mixed-media works feel like ideas taking shape in real time, drawing viewers into the complexity of memory and thought. Built from her earlier figurative language, the work emerges into something richer, more abstract, and quietly powerful.

Richard C. Ybarra
Richard Ybarra’s photographs of neon signage glow with electric energy, transforming light into a subject charged with movement and atmosphere. His images capture urban moments in emergence—flickering, radiant, and impossible to ignore.

Carol Mansfield
Carol Mansfield’s abstract paintings move between nature and spirit, carrying viewers beyond the visible world into an unforgettable inner landscape. Her work unfolds with calm momentum, revealing depth and meaning the longer you stay with it.

S. M. Shifflett
S. M. Shifflett’s paintings of people and animals are so precise they appear almost three-dimensional, creating an uncanny sense of presence. Each work feels like a moment emerging into focus, alive with intensity and emotional clarity.

POSTCARDS FROM THE LEFT COAST

January 17, 2026

Benefit Kick Off: 1 PM - 4 PM

Because HIV/AIDS is still with us, proceeds from Postcards from the Left Coast support the ongoing work of Visual AIDS and POZabilities, advancing critical programs for artists living with HIV and strengthening community care here in San Diego. This benefit brings artists, collectors, and neighbors together in creative solidarity.

Offered on a first-come, first-served basis, each piece is exhibited anonymously, with the artist’s identity revealed only after purchase. With the playing field leveled, participants may take home a work by a locally renowned artist—or by someone making their debut in the art world.

Join us in honoring those lost to AIDS, uplifting those living with HIV, and ensuring that artistic voices continue to be seen, heard, and supported.
