Since 2014, The Studio Door has built a reputation for recurring exhibitions that artists and audiences return to year after year. Flagship programs such as The Crow Show and PROUD+ have become annual traditions, bringing together diverse artists, collectors, and the community.

These recurring exhibitions are part of a year-round program that includes artist spotlight presentations, community-based projects, and business-to-business collaborations—supported by 17 on-site artist studios and art-centered experiences that extend beyond the gallery walls.

The Crow Show

An annual exhibition and longstanding San Diego tradition, The Crow Show invites artists to respond to the crow as symbol, subject and provocation. Returning year after year, the exhibition brings together diverse voices and approaches, creating an accessible yet conceptually rich experience that has become one of The Studio Door’s most anticipated programs for patrons and artists across the country. Now celebrating its 12th year.

San Diego County

The second year for this county-wide celebration of San Diego’s gallery community, Art Gallery Month brings together thirteen independent galleries to celebrate exhibitions, open studios and art receptions. What began as a collaborative initiative among San Diego City commercial galleries has expanded inviting collectors and first-time visitors alike to explore the vitality of our local art ecosystem.

Selected works by Studio Door artists Tim Weedlun, Sally Moluf Hoss, and Redin Winter are on view at The Joan, Cygnet Theatre in Liberty Station. This collaboration highlights the growing dialogue between San Diego’s performing and visual arts communities. Thank you to La Onda Arte Latino’s Andy Gonzalez and the team at Cygnet Theatre for their continued support of local visual artists.
