San Diego Art Gallery Month

Celebrate Local Art and Creativity!

March Art Gallery Month returns with its largest collaboration yet, now including 13 galleries across San Diego County. The initiative brings coordinated exhibitions, art receptions and open studios to neighborhoods from Little Italy to Rancho Santa Fe, encouraging the public to explore San Diego’s gallery ecosystem throughout the month of March.

As seen in Fox5 and KUSI News, The WORD San Diego, San Diego Visual Arts Network, KPBS Weekend Art Picks, and San Diego Union Tribune’s Spring Arts Preview.

Key Highlights:

Support Full-Time Artists
Unlike museums and nonprofits, privately owned galleries focus on directly supporting professional artists, many of whom are local. By visiting and purchasing from these galleries, you’re helping sustain the careers of talented individuals who enrich our community.

Collaborative Celebration
Eleven county galleries are uniting to promote the importance of art and inspire deeper engagement. Together, they’re creating an unforgettable month-long showcase of talent, passion, and creativity.

Why It Matters:
Art has the power to transform, inspire, and connect us. Economic challenges have placed stress on small businesses, including galleries, which are vital to the art ecosystem. By visiting and investing in local art, you’re directly supporting the artists who make San Diego a culturally rich and visually vibrant city.

Get Involved:
Plan your visits, follow participating galleries on social media, and join us in celebrating the art that makes San Diego unique.

Let’s make March a month to celebrate creativity together! See you at the galleries!
