“My work explores the intersection of classic form and modern expression, with a particular focus on the human figure as a vessel for storytelling. Through pieces like Yellow Ochre Lady, I aim to capture the ‘expression charm of my subjects, utilizing color and composition to evoke the spirt of a muse or the quiet elegance of a shared moment. Living and working in San Diego, I am inspired by the vitality of the LGBTQ+ artistic community and the collaborative energy of The Studio Door. My process is one of the continuous discovery-engaging with the ‘spectrum’ of the human experience to create art that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.”
